Tonight I'm Wearing

Jacket--- a high street shop in Hong Kong
Jumper--- H & M
Shorts--- Jill Stuart
Boots--- Cypress (HK high street brand)

I'm wearing this black 'Chanel-esque' ensemble today and have offsetted it with a big red Chanel bag...

Someone asked me to post a side view of the boots next time I wore them...here it it! Hope this suffices!
I do in fact, love over-the-knee boots... they're warmer and adds flare to any outfit- whether it's a dress, shorts, or over jeans....over-the-knee boots are super versatile and warm! These are from Hong Kong from a high street store called Cypress. Every time I go I make sure to make a trip there...they never disappoint!

Useful Tip:
When there is so much going on in an outfit, make it less messy by making it mostly 1 colour and 1 hardware!

I'm wearing this blouse opened at the neck today (you may have previously seen it all buttoned and tied at the top). As you can see, it's a different look but I like it! This warm/cold weather is driving me crazy and I can't figure out what to wear anymore haha!

I love the way the blue goes with the grey bag. I actually really like wearing blouses/shirts, but I have a lot of things in storage (as many of you may know) so I've been working with a more limited wardrobe for the past couple months and probably for the next little while or so. I CAN'T WAIT to get my things out of storage! Especially my beloved BAGS and SHOES!! (just like any girl!!)

Useful Tip:
The blouse is the main feature item, don't overpower it so keep it simple!

This Malo cashmere jumper is one of my favourite wardrobe items! I bought it in Paris and it's the SOFTEST cashmere I have ever come across. It's super warm, warmer than a lot of my jackets/coats even. It's a lovely piece and it's so easy to just throw on and wear with anything.

I'm wearing them with shorts from ASOS and boots from Karen Millen. Jeans would have been a little warm as the jumper is so snuggly! Wearing very natural colours and tones today, the army green, beiges, browns...love love love nature tones!

Tonight I'm Wearing

First off, IT'S NOT A DRESS! It's a playsuit actually! (Playsuit is basically a one-piece.)

And for those who want to know what the difference between a "playsuit" and a "jumpsuit" is- it's in the LENGTH of the trouser legs.

So if it's short= playsuit, long= jumpsuit. Simples!

The jacket is Chanel-esque, I actually got it for an amazing price in Hong Kong a few years ago- it is so incredibly well-made and in the 4th photo, I zipped it up just to show that it fastens in such a way bringing the neckline together like that. I have also matched the silver on the bag to the silver in the jacket (you may need to click on the photo for a closer look at the sleeves and neckline.

Useful Tip:

Black tights with black heels= endless legs!

Splash of COLOUR! I think my friends have been impressed with my colours the past few months as most people are used to seeing me in darker colours.

Gold buttons- sooo me! I love this jacket, and it was such a good deal- what a bargain (shopping in Hong Kong is RIDICULOUS for those of you who haven't been!)

The heels dress up the outfit more but not overly because of the different colours and now I can go from day to night easily! The extra gold detail separating the blue from the black of the shoe is just divine!
